The Big Sky reverb offers 12 studio quality reverbs that are lush and radiant. Designed to produce lush, radiant sounds that are immersive, the pedal can save up to 300 different presets to make sure that you’ll always have your sounds. The pedal features a set of simplistic controls and an easy to read display, making sure you can alter you sound quickly and with ease. Also featured on the pedal are two customisable parameter control knobs, allowing you to assign your favourite control for quick and easy access.
With up to 12 different reverbs to choose from, the Big Sky is an incredibly versatile reverb pedal, giving you the choice from a small room reverb to a huge hall type reverb. The first selectable reverb on the Big Sky is a room reverb, offering algorithms that create environments ranging from well-tuned studio ambience to large night club acoustics. The hall reverb produces defused reflections with a slow building density. Next is the plate setting which provides a rich, fast building reverb that has plenty of depth to it. The spring reverb offers 60’s type sounds while the Swell setting creates subtle evolving textures.
The Bloom Setting offers a big, ambient reverb with a unique feedback parameter. The cloud reverb produces an incredibly big and ambient sound, drawing from technique developed in the 70’s. The Chorale setting provides a vocal choir, and the shimmer reverb provides two tuneable voices to create a pitch shifting reverb. The Magneto setting produces a 50’s style reverb, creating a multi-head echo. The nonlinear reverb creates a variety of shapes to deliver a range of effects and unique textures. The last setting is the Reflections reverb that allows you to move your amp around the room, giving you the ability to create a real ambient space sound.
The Infinite sustain and freeze control gives the pedal the ability to continue the reverb trail indefinitely. While the Infinite sustain carries the reverb, the Freeze setting allows you to play over the top of the reverb without adding to the sound.
The spillover function allows the pedal to bleed the reverbs decay from one preset to the next, allowing a seamless transition from one reverb to the next. This allows you to switch between you presets without cutting of the effect. The Reverb Presist continues the reverb trails after the bypass switch has been hit, allowing the reverb to decay natural and prevent an sudden stops.
Designed with the intention of the Blue Sky being set a the end of your effect chain, the pedal features a cab filter switch that provides a sophisticated speaker response. When switch on, the pedal makes your dirt pedals sound amp like, while giving your clean guitar a present, rounded response.
