Key Features
The Vertex Steel String Supreme SRV Preamp Pedal is your ticket to the Texas-style blues tones that were Stevie's signature. Glassy cleans and rich, fat overdrives flow in abundance here as it's based on a legendary 6L6 Dumble Steel String Singer amplifier. It packs those hallowed (and super expensive!) sonics into a convenient pedal form, allowing you ample flexibility in how to hook it up.
Connect straight to your tube amp and drive the front end with SRV's all-analogue preamp, spice up your amp modeller with authentic Texas twang, or run straight into a cab sim/IR loader. Featuring plenty of tone shaping options with a powerful EQ and Bright/Deep, Rock/Jazz switches, the Steel String Supreme can let your top end sparkle and your bottom-end snap. Packed into a rugged steel housing and complete with true bypass switching, it's designed to be a constant feature on your pedalboard. After all, with the Vertex Steel String Supreme in your arsenal, what else could you need?

A legendary amp. Artistic icons like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Johnson and John Mayer have all championed the rare 100-watt 6L6 amplifier for its sought-after responsiveness, and now Vertex have captured the "Sparkle, Squish and Saturation" magic in the Supreme SRV pedal.
It's up to you. The SRV Supreme serves up a host of versatile sonics, covering everything from luscious Lenny style cleans to tempestuous Texas tones. Cut out the Gain and use it as a clean boost that can be tweaked and adjusted further with the EQ or ramp up the Gain to reveal a no-holds-barred saturated drive.
It packs tonnes of vintage tone, but you'll be glad to know that your dry signal will be completely unaffected thanks to True Bypass switching. In those rare occasions you don't want SRV's smooth sonics, the Supreme will offer up consistent performances. Together with its incredibly rugged steel housing, it'll be present on your pedalboard for the countless gigs and jam sessions to come - it even has top mounted jacks for super simple placement!
