Key Features
Big tones, comfortable performance. The Washburn Heritage G26SCE Electro Acoustic, Natural is the perfect choice if you want that dreadnought projection and tonal power without the clunky dreadnought size. Its pau ferro and red cedar construction injects the overall tone with a beautifully rich, warm soundscape. This, coupled with the grand auditorium's clean, well-defined sound, makes it the perfect choice for strumming and fingerpicking styles.
For comfort, the Hertiage G26SCE features a cutaway design and a satin finished neck. This provides you with an incredibly smooth and unimpeded performance, letting you glide swiftly across the entire fingerboard. If that wasn't enough, you also have access to a Fishman preamp. Take your performance to the studio or stage, deliver captivating tones, and enjoy creating music.

The G26SCE features a grand auditorium body shape. This design is big enough to accommodate medium strength picking and strumming, while still offering an incredibly comfortable playing experience. Tonally, the Washburn offers an impressive balance across the frequency range - especially in the midrange. This gives you a beautifully clean, well-defined sound that suits both strumming and fingerstyle playing.
While pau ferro is now mostly used on fingerboards as a replacement for rosewood, don't let that trick you into thinking its tone is something less. Beautifully warm and full of rich characters, the pau ferro is perfect for a body wood, offering a neutral sound that lets the top wood's tones shine. The G26SCE features a cedar top wood, enhancing the warm characteristics and delivering an excellent response. Characterised as rather dark, the cedar still offers rich harmonics and a sweet tonality. Any playing style will generate great soundscapes from this construction, and all your subtle nuances will be beautifully captured.
A satin finished mahogany neck is also added, increasing the body's resonance and enhancing the G26SCE's overall warmth. Since the neck features a satin finish, your hand will slide smoothly across the neck in any environment, unlike gloss finished necks which can cause your hand to stick when performing in humid climates. You also receive a smooth playing feel from the ovangkol fingerboard, letting you fingers glide with ease for stunning slides and string bends.
For extra playing comfort, the grand auditorium body features the classic venetian cutaway. This type of cutaway is characterised by its rounded design and soft curves. This not only provides you with unobstructed access to the higher frets, but also offers excellent comfort when playing those higher frets.
The addition of Fishman's Presys II 301T electronics lets you take your performance to the stage and studio without the need to mic up. Simply connect a jack cable and then your free to focus on your performance. While the undersaddle pickup captures the Washburn's natural tones and character, the on-board control section lets you adjust and fine-tune your sound for a variety of settings. You can also use the phase switch to remove unwanted noise during live situations, ensuring you'll always deliver a beautifully crisp performance.
Another great feature of the Fishman preamp is its in-built tuner. Just hit the tuner button to active it and tune away. This lets you always keep the Washburn Woodline in tune and is also a great way to change tunings on the fly. Ideal if you need different tunings for different songs when playing live.
