Key Features
The SoundForce Dual ADSR Module (20HP) is a feature-rich dual envelope generator which accurately models the sound of vintage Japanese synthesizers. Comprised of two identical sections, each with independent manual control over the four stages of your envelope, cycling, three time ranges and a wealth of inputs and outputs including gate, retrigger, inverted and 'End Of'.

Accurately recreating the response and sound of a vintage Japanese synthesizer in today's world can be difficult. Modern equivalents are required to capture the essence and spirit of vintage equipment. with this in mind, to provide smooth and stable envelope curves at high frequencies, Dual ADSR is powered by a 120Mhz ARM Cortex-M microcontroller with a built-in DAC. This modern digital chip controls the implementation of CV via software, streamlining the functionality of the Dual ADSR, allowing for different time ranges of curve responses.
Each sound source is different and varies from patch to patch depending on what modules are used and the sound you're aiming for. Providing you with complete flexibility to cater to any sound source, SoundForce Dual ADSR Module includes three-time ranges. Short is the fastest response, with an attack as low as 0.2ms to 1s, decay of 0.5ms to 2s and release of 0.5ms to 2s. Medium operates with an attack from 1ms to 3s, decay of 2ms to 12s and release of 2ms to 12s. Large offers a huge jump in each stage of the envelope, with attack ranging from 9ms to 60s, decay of 30ms to 30s and release of 30ms to 30s. Setting the shape to exponential and the time to medium is the closest representation of the fabled Japanese synthesizer response.
