Offering a huge range of flexibility, the Quad Quantizer can lift your music to the next level. Four channels of quantisation allow you to create complex and expansive melodic phrases to channel the true intent of your music to your listeners. Featuring 12 pre-programmed scales and key transposition, you can find the best range for your music on the fly, making it the perfect solution for the performing musician. Edit, remove and add notes into your sequence with the manual button to tailor your melody to your music.

Each channel features a CV input, Trigger input, CV output and Trigger output, giving you all the tools you need to integrate the Quad Quantizer into your existing Eurorack. Send trigger signals to act as a Sample and Hold circuit and send your signals through your modules to create expanding soundscapes that will take you to another world.

Controls

• CV In: Insert the control Voltages that you wish to quantise into the CV in. The first jack for each channel is the CV in.
• CV Out: The quantised CV from the module will emerge from the third jack of each channel. This will typically be patched to a 1V/Oct input on a VCO.
• TRIG Out: The trigger output will produce a trigger signal each time the CV output changes value. Each time a trigger is generated, the associated LED indicator will illuminate. This output will typically be patched to the trigger /gate input of your generator.
• TRIG IN: Leaving this unpatched will allow continuous quanitzing of the CV input. Sending a trigger to this input will sample and hold the current CV in. Once unpatched, the continous sampling mode will resume after 5 seconds.
• Scale CV in: This CV input allows the automation of changes to the scale that each channel is being quantised to.
• Transpose CV in: This CV input allows the automation of changes to the key of each channel is being quantised to.
• Encoder: Turning up the encoder moves the cursor up or down the LED note display. The currently selected note is shown by a blinking of the associated LED.
• Button 1: Button 1 adds and removes notes to the current quantisation scale.
• Button 2: Button 2 has three main functions, Quick press, Medium press, Long press. For more information for these functions, please see the manual here
• Scale Dial: There are 12 pre-programmed scales. This dial selects which of those scales is activated. When using the SCALE CV input jack, this dial becomes an attenuator.
• Key Dial: The current scale and notes selected on the quantiser can be transposed to a different key using this dial. When using the TRANSPOSE CV jack input, this dial becomes an attenuator.
• Note display: The LED display is laid out in the shape of the piano and shows which notes the CV inputs are currently being quantised to. The cursor position for a custom note selection is marked by a blinking of the LED of the currently selected note.
