Thanks to its cardioid polar pattern, the RE420 is incredible for live performance and recording applications. This guarantees mind-blowing off-axis rejection of undesirable noise and ambience. With a decrease of sensitivity of up to 6dB at the sides, you'll be provided with enough range to meet the needs of the most dynamic performers. Plosives and sibilance are rendered a thing of the past thanks to the inclusion of an in-built pop shield. Get the sound right at source by engaging the high-pass-filter. Switching this on automatically reduces undesirable frequency content below 150Hz. What's more, the internal shockmount is perfect for isolating the capsule from any form of vibration or handling noises.
