Your sound is in your hands

Literally. With the Mackie Connect app for iOS and Android, you can control every aspect of your FreePlay Personal PA from your smartphone or tablet. Adjust input levels, the EQ, and the integrated vocal and instrument effects. And do it with ease. An intuitive user interface, including a handy mixer view, gives you the power to make adjustments on the fly, just as if you had the FreePlay's built-in mixer right in front of you.

The app simply connects to the FreePlay via Bluetooth. And speaking of Bluetooth, you can also wirelessly stream audio directly to your FreePlay so you can play backing tracks and more, straight from your mobile device. You could attach your phone or tablet to a mic stand for making changes whilst you perform, or you could even adjust your FreePlay's sound remotely whenever you need to. No matter where you are, or what you're playing, you're in control.

Loaded with a high-output 8'' woofer and two high-performance HF transducers, you can enjoy powerful full-range stereo sound with an exceptional response. Capable of reproducing sound across a wide frequency range (65Hz to 20kHz), you can be sure that every single detail of your sound will be heard with clarity.

The FreePlay's built-in 4-channel mixer lets you hook up microphones, instruments, and more. XLR, 1/4'' TRS and TS jacks, and an 1/8'' mini-jack port provide flexible connectivity for a huge variety of sound sources. Plus, you'll have complete control over each channel, so you can sculpt the perfect sound in seconds.

As well as channel EQs, you also have 16 gig-ready effects to make your sound your own. Four presets (Verb 1, Ver 2, Delay 1, and Delay 2) are available directly from the FreePlay itself. You can access the other additional effects, including choruses and a variety of other effect combinations, through the Connect app.

What's more, you can use one of the four EQ modes to tailor your sound to any application. Flat EQ mode keeps your speaker's response linear, with no cutting or boosting of any frequencies. DJ EQ mode adds an extra boost to the bass and treble, making it perfect for music playback. Solo EQ mode rolls off the low frequencies to prevent unwanted thumps, whilst simultaneously boosting the highs and mid-range for that extra sparkle. And finally, Voice EQ mode boasts a significant low-frequency roll-off, whilst boosting the highs and mids to dramatically improve speech intelligibility.
