Key Features
Classic analog filtering based on designs by Dr. Bob Moog himself. Mode Machines OMF-1 Oakley-Moog Filterbank is a four pole true analog filter which has been based on the famous transistor ladder filters developed by Moog in the 1960's.
This powerful filter contains all the controllable filter parameters you would need like cut-off frequency and resonance, and can even be driven to self oscillate if required. The OMF-1 is a great piece of kit to load into your analog studio rack and is ready for synchronization across your other modular gear with CV and Gate inputs for controlling the parameters from outside the unit. With powerful pre-amps and side chaining capabilities, the OMF-1 is perfect if you like to keep things analog.
Please Note: This bundle may not come in the original packaging but is still new and comes with Gear4music's free two year warranty. An external power supply with AC power is included.

Based on the classic ladder filters designed by Dr. Moog, the OMF-1 replicates these filtering techniques brilliantly. The front panel is easy to use and displays the four main potentiometers with clear labeling. After the input gain knob, the first two knobs control the resonance and the frequency of the filter.
After this you then set the parameters of the Fizz and Smooth outputs. These are -6db/Octave and -24dB/octave filters respectively. The Fizz is aggressive and gives you a real bite to your filtering, whilst the Smooth is a more classic ladder filter which gives a bit more analog warmth and grit. You can mix these outputs together to create rather complex filter shapes, providing you with very unique results.Any instrument can be played through the OMF-1, the output of which is controlled by the useful wet/dry control. The pre-amplifier is perfect for making sure the signal from whatever instrument you use comes through loud and clear. The OMF-1 also features a square and triangle waveform LFO with a huge range of 0.05hz to over 50hz. That's a lot of wobble. The OMF-1 is feature-rich and gives you huge scope for filtering your instruments.
The OMF-1 has a very useful envelope section which has three separate modes for shaping your filter. The Mode Machines OMF-1 Oakley-Moog Filterbank also comes with side chaining capabilities which can be used to trigger the envelope generator. Make your analog synthesizer bass lines stand out by ducking them behind a pounding kick drum. This can give your songs a really dynamic feel.
There are also CV and Gate inputs for controlling the filter from outside the unit. Control the filter frequency and trigger envelopes using your modular synthesizer. The OMF-1 can used in whatever context you can think of.
