Version 5.0 of rekordbox DJ is now available, optimising the user experience to deliver the best possible usability. Version 5 boasts quicker and improved track loading, allowing you to cue songs as fast as you can find them. The interface also features improved scrolling and browsing capabilities, helping to speed up your workflow when mixing and cueing up songs. The track analytics has also been overhauled to deliver the stable and powerful Pioneer sound we all love.

Wide range of performance controls

The thing that sets rekordbox DJ apart from the crowd is the unique and powerful performance features. You can perform with either two or four deck setups using a wide range of Pioneer DJ controllers. There are also a wide range of built-in effects including new PAD FX that allow you to create a variety of FX chains utilising all 16 pads. Sound colour FX, beat FX and Release FX allow you to take your mixes to the next level, providing new and exciting ways to transition and utilise your effects.

Remix live with the sampler and record your mixes

Also included is a 16-slot sampler which you can use for a range of applications. Incorporate your own DJ tags, sound FX and more by loading them into the sampler. You could even import drums and other sounds into the sampler to create live remixes on the fly. One of the most convenient features is the ability to record your performances straight to your laptop/computer whilst mixing/scratching. No need for tedious setups and long cable runs, simply press record and let rekordbox DJ take care of the rest.
