SSL SiX 500 Series Channel Strip Overview
Split into four main sections, the SiX provides a streamlined design that packs a punch. The onboard classic-style SSL two-band EQ provides you with controls for both LF and HF bands. Each band features switchable shelving/bell curve settings for added versatility. The integrated compressor section features the legendary feed-forward circuit design from SSL, providing improved precision and automatic make-up gain.

Thanks to its excellent design, the SSL SuperAnalogue design gives you sonic character like no other. The ultra-low noise circuitry means you get perfect sound - every time. The wide dynamic range offers great reproduction no matter what instruments are in your signal chain. It features ultra-low distortion as well as great stereo imaging.
Pristine sound
The high-end mono channel is equipped with SSL SuperAnalogue mic pres providing +63dB of gain for your line input and +72 dB for the mic. It features Phantom Power to handle any mic you use with it. The channel strip is equipped with a classic-style two-band SSL EQ that may be independently switched between shelf and bell curves, with different centre frequencies for each type. This gives you great control over your signals.
