A universe of effects
The W1 MK2's powerful effects modules make it easy to design effects and manipulate your fixtures to wow audiences. The Colour FX block allows you to mix up to 16 colours at once into Rainbow, Sparkle, or Light Fever modes, giving you a variety of intensities to play with, applying effects to RGB, Amber, White, UV, or CMY channels, but lights without colour mixing can receive these signals too, applying their effects to fixed colour wheels. The Move FX block lets you control scanners and moving heads, playing with light positioning and creating patterns of movement that you can move, shift, and repeat, while picking different centre points. Blast a pattern at the ceiling and then do something new on the dancefloor with the same fixture! The Beam FX block pairs great with light bars, letting you create chases, waves, and heartbeat dims, applying these effects to either colour channels or your choice of dimmer or shutter channels for fixtures without colour mixing, and a step sequencer to create precise visuals.
Reliable build
The Wolfmix W1 MK2 is built to withstand the rigours of the live entertainment industry. Its housing is made from durable ABS plastic, ensuring that it can withstand bumps and knocks during transport. Additionally, the controller features a powder-coated steel base plate with a 100mm VESA (M4 6mm max) mount, providing stability and versatility when mounting the controller. The reinforced back plate is also made from powder-coated steel, adding an extra layer of protection to the controller. With its robust construction, the Wolfmix W1 is designed to withstand the demands of the stage.
Massive control
The Wolfmix W1 Mk2 offers control of up to four DMX universes, making it perfect for large, high-intensity shows and elaborate lighting design. Its four individual DMX output connectors let you assign any universe to any connector type, or sync with another Wolfmix controller for even more hands-on control. This controller can also synchronise timings to music production or DJ softwares via Ableton Link or OS2L, making it ideal for electronic musicians, DJs, and bands that utilise DAWs for performance.
Premium display
Featuring a 4.3" colour TFT display with tinted glass, the Wolfmix W1 MK2 provides a clear and vibrant interface for controlling your lighting setup. The display is touch-responsive, allowing you to easily navigate through menus and settings. Whether you're selecting different lighting fixtures or adjusting the parameters of your light show, the display on the Wolfmix W1 provides the visual feedback you need to make precise adjustments. With its intuitive interface, you can create mesmerizing lighting effects with ease.
Powerful processing
Powered by a 220Mhz CPU with ARM core, the Wolfmix W1 MK2 offers a powerful and responsive performance for controlling your lighting setup. With 8MB of RAM and 16MB of flash memory, the controller can handle complex lighting sequences and store extensive fixture libraries. The processing power of the Wolfmix W1 ensures that your lighting effects are smooth and synchronized, giving you precise control over your light show.
Versatile connectivity
The Wolfmix W1 MK2 comes with built-in audio and DMX connectivity options, allowing you to integrate external devices seamlessly. It features an omnidirectional electret microphone, which can capture ambient sound or be used for sound-reactive lighting effects. The 3.5mm Jack Line-In enables you to connect audio sources directly to the controller, ensuring precise synchronization between your lighting and sound. In terms of DMX connectivity, the Wolfmix W1 offers two 3-pin DMX XLR outputs, a 5-pin DMX XLR output, and a 5-pin DMX two-way input or output connector with WLINK. These connectors provide versatile options for connecting your lighting fixtures to the controller and expanding your lighting setup.
