Key Features
The ADAM A7X Studio Monitors with Isolation Pads is an all-in-one studio monitor bundle featuring two ADAM A7X Studio Monitors complete with isolation pads helping to optimise the audio performance of the A7Xs.
The ADAM A7X Studio Monitors feature ADAM's proprietary X-ART tweeter paired with a 7'' mid-range woofer, an A/B amplifier and a powerful PWM amplifier. Perfectly designed for home studios and smaller professional studio environments; the A7X monitors deliver a maximum SPL of 114dB per pair and come equipped with a tweeter gain function, dual front-firing bass ports as well as high shelf/low shelf EQ and flexible input connectors. The A7X boasts the ability to exactly reproduce every sonic detail no matter how small, with precise but powerful bass responses as well as uncompressed highs and upper mids.

The AX series monitor cabinets feature chamfered upper corners on the front, helping to minimise edge diffraction so that phase cancellation is not an issue. The interior of the cabinet is equipped with a special fleece that prevents the internal resonances being disturbed as well as ensuring superior bass reflex tuning. The front panel houses the power switch, volume control and front-firing bass reflex ports, providing greater ease of use and allowing the monitor to be placed closer to a wall if needed.
The woofers on all AX series monitors are built using a construction of woven carbon and glass fiber with the synthetic material Rohacell. When these three materials are combined together, the result is an ultra-lightweight yet extremely rigid material that provides excellent transient responses.
All models in the AX series feature two discrete amplifiers including an A/B that drives the X-ART tweeter and functions quickly within its broad frequency range, and a mid-range woofer that is driven by a powerful and highly efficient pulse-width modulated (PWM) amplifier. By pairing these two together, ADAM delivers monitors that do not require additional heat sinks and are both more reliable and durable than traditional amplifiers.
The Stereolink is a useful feature when working on desktop DAWs. The two additional input and output jacks for the second stereo channel allow you to control the volume for both monitors using the control of only one monitor. Unlike the typical master-slave configuration, each A5X is fully equipped and can function either as a master or a slave unit.
Get the best out of your monitors, even if they are the top of the line! Isolating your monitors from your work surface will get the best performance possible from them, allowing you to hear in much greater detail than ever before. Vibrations from your speakers ripple down through the surface they stood on, creating a coupling effect that increases the bass in your studio, meaning you won't be able to make sound judgements within your mixing. De-coupling your monitors from your work surface allows the low-end rumble to get attenuated, meaning you can more accurately mix your tracks to translate on different speakers and different systems. The specially constructed foam is designed to hold the weight of your speakers with a huge amount of stability to ensure that your speakers will stay firmly in place, even when played back at very high volumes.
It's not just the low-end that you will hear an improvement in when using the Acoustic Gear Universal Studio Monitor Pads, your stereo imaging will be much improved as a result. By de-coupling your monitors from your workspace, the low-end will not be as prevalent in your listening space, meaning your bass will sound more mono in the stereo field, giving space to the mid and high frequencies in the wider spaces. The angled wedge design also gives you flexibility on where to position your monitors to get the best listening angle from your workspace to make sure you can hear everything clearly and directly.
