Consistent, High-Quality Conversion
The ADC1 USB features Benchmark's UltraLock™ system, which delivers consistent, high-quality conversion even when slaved to a poor-quality external clock. The clock input automatically recognises AES/EBU, S/PDIF, Word Clock or Super Clock sources, and UltraLock gives it unsurpassed jitter immunity.
Accurate Channel Matching
The high-performance analogue circuit delivers low-noise, low-distortion, high-bandwidth performance over a wide gain range. The gain and calibration controls allow for accurate channel matching to easily capture exact imaging, difficult transients and subtle details.
High-Resolution Output
The five digital outputs can operate simultaneously at up to three independent sample rates, and one of the coaxial outputs can be configured for 16-bit TPDIF dithered output. This means you can simultaneously record to a CDR while also recording high-resolution to a digital recorder and a DAW. You can create backup or reference recordings while feeding high-resolution output to your primary recording devices. And Benchmark's Advanced USB technology provides a bit-transparent computer interface that streams at up to 96kHz/24-bit without installing any drivers.
Integrated Rack Moutability
This model of the ADC1 USB is designed for rack mounting. It occupies half of a rack space, and can be mounted alone using Benchmark's rack mount kit, or in conjunction with another Benchmark module using the rack mount coupler.
