Packed into a single rack space is the world's most advanced stereo A/D converter on the market, along with five game-changing, smart, useful and well-executed innovations you never knew you needed. Firstly, we'll start with the simple and intelligent switchable dual inputs. Simply press a button to switch between any two balanced line input sources, allowing you to instantly compare different mastering chains, a reference track with your mix, or even switch between mixing and recording mode. Secondly, CONVERT-AD + features a clip guard that disables the red light LED at your destination or in your DAW. Usually, red means clipping, but in actuality, the over indicator in the AD + turns from green to yellow. When this is on, 'Mastering for iTunes' or the CD pressing won't reject your productions, as these red light overs will not appear, even when you have the same volume level.

Zoomable Metres & Emphasis Control

Zoomable metres lets you zoom in on just the top 10dB of dynamic activity, so you can finely craft your dynamics. By simply pressing a button you can integrate a pair of Hammond transformers that are wired in series, ready to add some character and articulation to your mix or master. The final feature is the Emphasis control. When the transformers are on, the Emphasis control adds an EQ/compression combo that provides you with a stronger and tighter low-end, whilst adding some slight saturation to your mids and highs.

Amazing Jitter Rejection Technology

CONVERT-AD + is equipped with superb jitter elimination technology, giving you a converter that is virtually jitter free. A rock-solid clock is one of the most important factors of a converter and it's what would sway you towards one over the other. This rock-solid clock ensures the CONVERTER-AD + will sound like itself. The word clock can be used in slave or master mode. When in slave mode, you're forcing the CONVERT-AD + to listen to whatever you feed it. If you choose master mode, the CONVERT-AD + is then the master clock for your whole studio, allowing you to connect all your external gear and have them follow the clock of the CONVERT-AD +.
