Premium quality audio with two-circuit design
Imagine getting the perfect sound every time you record yourself or an artist. This is what the Lewitt LCT1040 produces, like a painter using a colour palette, you can make the sound in your head a reality. Constructed with a gold-sputtered 1-inch condenser capsule, E88CC / 6DJ8 tube from JJ Electronics, dual-circuit design and more, the culmination is a microphone unlike any other, providing an incredibly rich and detailed sound with unrivalled flexibility. With performance rivalling the legendary microphones of the past, the ultra-low noise, high headroom and high dynamic range allow you to record a myriad of instruments with ease. A crystal clear FET circuit is combined with the all-analog tube circuit and offers a wide range of tonal shaping options for your recordings. Select between Clear, Warm, Dark or Saturated to suit the needs of your instrument, from dynamic and emotive violin to driving rock vocals, the LCT1040 can do it all.
Take control and customise your microphone with the remote control
Putting the power of the Lewitt LCT1040 at your fingertips, the powerful remote control allows you to control every parameter of your microphone to get the best results for your session. With the remote control, the Lewitt LCT1040 allows you to tweak all the available microphone settings from your control room, eliminating the room to go back and forth from the live room. Simply power up with the included PSU and connect via a 3-pin XLR cable. With seamless control over the five onboard polar patterns, you can control the response of your capsule with ease. Set the directivity of your microphone from Omni, wide cardioid, cardioid, supercardioid, figure-8 and any blend between each. No matter if you're recording full ensembles, small chamber orchestras, singer/songwriters or a full drum kit, you can always be ready to capture the sound to get the best results for your mix.
The dual-circuit design between FET and Tube microphone is also completely controllable via the remote control. Blend between both circuits 100 or a mix of both to create the perfect timbre for your voice or instrument. With no dead-spots when sweeping between both circuits you can add the extra punch and precision of the FET circuit, ideal for percussive instruments or dial in the warmth and smoothness of the Tube circuit, ideal for lead vocals or singer/songwriters.
The low-cut and pre-attenuation settings are ideal for catering to different recording applications, from vocals to instruments. It is also designed to make your workflow easier, allowing the studio engineer to change the settings without having to go to the microphone.
When you have dialled in your perfect sound, the remote control features two XLR outputs, where the 'Mix' output records the ratio set between your circuit control and the 'FET' output delivers only 100 FET circuit. Savvy engineers will see this as an opportunity to take microphone signals from one microphone to mix in post-production, allowing you to fine-tune your recordings in your DAW for your project!
Expertly designed accessories
More than just accessories, the Lewitt LCT1040 comes with the essentials to get the best performance from your microphone. A carbon-fibre shockmount supports the weight of the microphone whilst providing efficient decoupling effects from the microphone to your stand. Decoupling your microphone from your stand ensures that you will avoid any extraneous noise from vibrations within your room, creating a clean and precise recording free from any distractions. Additionally designed with a quick-release mechanism, you can remove your microphone from the cradle and adjust the angle a full 360-degrees fast, saving you time when it matters most.
A high-performance magnetic pop filter is included to reduce the effects of proximity as well as plosives. Not only that, but it also protects your microphone from any unwanted moisture that can damage your LCT1040 over time. The magnetic design integrates perfectly with the shockmount for a quick and easy setup to get recording with clean and distortion-free audio.
