McDSP MC2000 Native v7 Overview
The McDSP MC2000 Native v7 is a premium-quality four-band multi-band compressor plug-in which emulates a range of classic and modern hardware compressors. Comprised of four independent compressor bands, each with a full range of conventional controls including the signature BITE control, you can tailor the response of each frequency band independently. Making it perfect to work on a myriad of instruments or sounds within your mix, each frequency band can be freely adjusted independently or globally and can be bypassed on and off when only specific regions require compressing.
Unlike traditional broadband compressors, the MC2000 multi-band makes it simple to target specific frequency-based dynamics in your sound. Reducing the 'bloom' in the low frequencies of a bass drum or the chesty resonance of a lead vocal performance can be targeted without effecting the overall compression levels of the rest of the frequency spectrum.
Designed for the modern professional, the McDSP MC200 features non-standard Knee responses with both negative and positive values to authentically and seamlessly blend between models of revered hardware compressors. Accurate monitoring is provided, with independent gain reduction per band, accurate output levels, per band graphics with knee and threshold and the frequency bands.
