The OLLO Audio S4R Recording Headphones are high-quality closed back studio headphones capable of being used in a mixing and mastering role. The speaker units consist of 55mm transducers with a PET 25u membrane and a double-layer coil system that deliver a flat and clear sound to your ears. The transducers require only 32 ohms making them relatively low impedance, meaning they can work with a broad range of devices. Sound Seal Acoustics separates the front and back of the speaker cabinet which provides significant isolation and sonic performance.
Built from Sturdy materials such as spring steel and wood, the S4R is robust and comfortable. They feature poly leather and velour replaceable earpads, with an acoustic foam interior that not only isolates outside and inside sounds but also provides ultimate comfort. The headband is constructed from powder-coated spring steel and features a self-adjusting strap, it attaches to the earcups via two 360-degree rotational brackets. The S4R cable is a detachable braided silicone cable with an OFC core that ensures signal purity from your device to the headphones. This cable comes with left and right (L=black/R=red) colour coding on the inputs, but they are reversible and can be attached to either PCB connector on each side. The cable also features a 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter for connection capability to a wide range of devices.

Closed-back headphones aren't normally used for mixing and mastering, however; the S4R headphones are widely regarded as being up to the task. To achieve such an accurate sonic picture, the S4R headphones feature two dynamic neodymium speakers with handpicked left and right-matched 50mm transducers that have immaculate frequency separation capabilities. The transducers are made from a PET 25u membrane with a two layered coil Requiring only 32 Ohms, the relatively low impedance of the S4R means it is compatible with most battery powered small consumer equipment and other everyday devices such as HiFi stereo amps. The sound Isolation and frequency separation characteristics of the S4R are attributed to the Sound Seal Acoustics ™ that separates the front and back of the earcup and the replaceable earcups made from isolating acoustic foam fits ergonomically around the ears and helps to reduce bleed from the headphones. The ultra-elastic poly leather and soft velour outer layer make the S4R earcups comfortable and easy to wear for extended periods of time.
Solid build, adaptable design
Designed, assembled, and manufactured in Slovenia, the S4R headphones are built to an exceptional standard. The headband is made from powder coated spring steel and has a self-adjusting artificial leather comfort strap that keeps the headphones at a comfortable level. Plugged in vial a detachable braided silicone cable with an OFC core that prevents signal distortion. The cable is colour coded with black for left and red for right, but both cable ends can fit in the opposite embedded PCB connector and the end of the cable features a 3.5/6.3mm TRS jack adaptor that can be swithced to suit the equipment you're monitoring. OLLO Audio also strive to make their products as sustainable and upgradeable as possible.
