And now, with this faithful recreation in the form of a tower unit, you can take this legendary guitar voice with you from stage to studio.
The all-analogue circuitry maintains an authentic crunch throughout your playing, with all the warmth and sustain you crave out of your chords. This vintage tone is taken to the next level when you crank the 'Output' knob, controlling a powerful op-amp that delivers up to 30db of clean boost. This way, you can drive your amp to its absolute maximum, and unleash those soaring lead tones to slash through the mix. This is the Schaffer sound.
That tonal sweet spot
One of key features of the Ex Tower is Ken Schaffer's signature 'Opto-Isolator' limiter.
