The Swivl CX1 Robot is an innovative tool for live-streaming and virtual classes. Designed for educators and content creators, the CX1 Robot will follow your movements, recording audio and video (visuals with a tablet/smartphone device). The Swivl Robot comes complete with a 'Marker' control device that captures high-definition audio, perfect for teaching online, lectures, business meetings and even vlogging.


Compatible with Zoom, Google Meet, MS Teams and also Swivl's own custom app - Teams, the CX1 is the ultimate media hub for communication. The applications are endless, from instructional videos to one-on-one training sessions, the CX1 Robot will track you as you move in front of the device to ensure a professional end product. It is easy to set up and operate, simply mount your tablet (or mobile) device onto the top of the Swivl CX1 and within a few minutes, you're ready to go!


A wide range of accessories are available to expand the functionality of the robot including additional 'Markers'. Markers are a small remote-style device that hangs around your neck, which the CX1 uses to track your movements. It also has a built-in microphone which provides crisp and clear sound. You can use additional 'Secondary Markers' (not included) which will allow participants to interact with you via the built-in microphone.


This bundle pairs the CX1 robot with a robust, height-adjustable stand which you can use to mount the Swivl CX1. It is the perfect combination for free-standing, hands-free audio/visual recording.

Moving freely while giving a presentation or a class is something that comes naturally to most educators and workers alike. In the modern age of online classes and business meetings, this can be stifled with tedious setup processes and multiple different devices having to be used to effectively create a professional presentation. With the CX1 Robot this whole process is streamlined, leaving you free to move around your working space and interact with students or colleagues at the touch of a button.

The CX1 will track your movements using a ‘Marker’ which is placed around your neck. This compact device features a built-in microphone and LED sensor which the CX1 uses to track you as you move around. The system can turn up to 360-degrees, providing unparalleled freedom when it comes to presenting. The versatile design means it can be used for a variety of applications. From online class and business meetings to live-streaming, vlogging and even creating YouTube videos.

Easy-to-use with an expandable design

You can either live-stream or record your videos by placing your tablet/mobile device (not included) on top of the robot within the mount. Setup is easy and you can get started within minutes. It comes complete with a dedicated Swivl app that allows you to record, edit and share your videos. The robot and marker both feature built-in rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that can run between 4-6 hours on a full charge.

Secondary Markers (available separately) can also be introduced to your CX1 Robot setup, which allows you to interact with students or colleagues via the built-in mic. You can connect up to four additional Secondary Markers with audio tracks that can be heard individually during playback on Swivl Teams. As the user of the Primary Marker you have the power to mute Secondary Markers should you need to.
