The Synthogy Ivory II American Concert D is a faithful virtual instrument of a vintage Steinway D grand piano. At 49 GB, this piano is the single largest piano Synthogy has released. The American Concert D is a 1951 Steinway D, chosen by the Steinways & Sons concert department for Steinway artist promotion. As a result, this piano has had some amazing pianists use it. It even has Glenn Gould's signature on the plate. With an exceptionally clear and transparent sound, this is another great opportunity for pianists or composers to pick up an iconic sounding instrument for their own personal use.
The American Concert D is renowned for its long sustain, which can last up to two minutes on some notes! This characteristic and more is captured in this library.
