It features 1 XLR input that provides phantom power ideal for both dynamic and condenser microphones. Tascam's own Ultra-HDDA provide you with the cleanest, quietest and best sounding preamps around. They feature a very low noise level (input noise -127) with zero-latency monitoring and the XLR input also supplies +48 phantom power ideal for recording with condenser microphones. The XLR input also provides gain range of 57dB makes it ideal for any type of mic including dynamic and ribbon as these types of microphones tend to have a lower level output. Conveniently the low-noise design keeps the noise level at bay when cranking up the gain ensuring you always get a clean sound and plenty of level when recording.
TRS Input For Instruments
The US-1x2 offers an input for a direct connection of an electric guitar or bass allowing you to record or stream your instrument without the need for an instrument amp. You can directly record your instrument through the TRS input.
