Yamaha AG01 USB Microphone, White Overview

The Yamaha AG01 USB Microphone is made for studio-grade streaming. Though this doesn't mean its hard to use. In fact, the AG01 is designed for easy use, featuring USB connectivity, built-in controls, onboard DSP and much more.


It is compatible with Windows, Mac and iOS/Android devices - so you can stream how you want. And the expansive connectivity makes it easy to configure the mic in various ways, such as LOOPBACK mode or adding line signal audio. And, if you want to get in-depth with configuration, there's an "AG Controller" app that makes this easy.


The microphone itself will capture premium-grade audio. It makes use of a condenser capsule with a cardioid polar pattern, which blocks out unwanted background noise. This is converted into high-resolution audio at 192kHz, 24bit.

Streaming made easy

You'll be capturing audio in no time with the AG01. Just plug it in via USB if you're using a computer, or connect to iOS/Android. And it's not hard to get it configured, with a minimalist design for quick adjustment of controls.

Flexible setup

Stream how you want. The AG01 features a number of connectivity options, so you can set it up in a number of ways. There's a mini stereo line input jack, a 4-pole mini-jack for smartphones in/out, and the LOOPBACK mode allows you to add audio via the USB connection.

Impressive audio

In spite of how easy it is to use, the AG01 provides you with studio-quality audio. It delivers this with a cardioid polar pattern that blocks out ambient noise. Plus, it captures incoming audio at 192kHz and 24bit - so your voice or instrument will always sound amazing.

And to sweeten the deal, the AG01 also features internal DSP effects. This results in a polished sound with options for compression, EQ and even reverb. Because this uses an internal, there's no delay with these effects either.

Simple and in-depth control

For simple adjustments, the AG01 has a number of onboard controls. This allows you to make changes to settings, such as volume, seamlessly in live situations. So if you need to change something, you won't detract from your performance.

But if you want to make more in-depth adjustments, you can use the "AG Controller" app to edit internal DSP processing. You can use this in both Simple and Detail levels depending on what you want to change, and this app can be used with Windows/Mac or iOS.

Bundled with Steinberg software

The AG01 comes with Cubase AI software, perfect for getting going with music production straight away. And it also comes with WaveLab Cast for audio production and editing - so you can get podcasting or streaming right away.
