The body of the jFlute is split up into three easy parts, making it simple to construct and take apart. Thanks to the jFlute's ABS construction, it is more durable than a standard flute, meaning it is less likely to break if it gets knocked over. Although the jFlute weighs around half the weight of a traditional flute, it still produces a fantastic and authentic tone.
Being in the key of C, the jFlute is a great instrument for instrumental music lessons. It makes it much easier to play with other concert pitch instruments such as the piano, guitar, or tuned percussion. Thanks to the plastic construction, the jFlute can easily be sanitised if more than one student is playing the same instrument.
Thoughful features
Producing your first notes on a flute can sometimes be a challenge. To help you make the correct embouchure and lip placement, the jFlute comes Nuvo's Firsnote lip plate. This lip plate closely resembles a recorder-style embouchure, so you can start producing notes straight away. To help your posture, the jFlute comes with Nuvo's 'donut' headjoint, which brings the keywork closer to the body while keeping the whole instrument in a line. Also included are extension keys to help your left hand reach the more awkward parts of the flute.
