The Bach TR501 trumpet is an excellent choice for those thinking about purchasing their first instrument. Similar to the other instruments in the 501 range, the Bach trumpet was made with students in mind. At the front of the trumpet, there is a nickel silver mouthpiece receiver which is ideal for young beginners because the mouthpiece won't get stuck, meaning no need for expensive maintenance work. This leadpipe on the TR501 trumpet is made from high-quality gold brass which is ideal for creating a warm tone.
On the bell of the TR501 there is a piece of steel wire soldered around the rim. This not only reinforces the bell of the trumpet making it more resilient to bumps and bangs, but it also helps with projecting the sound of the instrument. Similar to other trumpets by Bach, the TR501 features a thumb saddle around the 1st valve slide so the basics of intonation and tuning can be mastered early on. On the 3rd valve slide there is a movable finger ring which ensures a comfortable grip no matter how small your hands are.

To ensure that you have the best possible experience, Bach have included everything you need to get started. To keep the trumpet safe, the TR501 comes with a lightweight case that offers strong protection. On the outside of the case you will find two strong handles and two comfortable backpack straps. On the front of the case there is a large zipped pocket which is perfect for all of your sheet music.
Moulded especially for the TR501, the student trumpet fits perfectly inside the case. For an extra touch of protection, the inside is lined with a soft touch material that won't scratch your trumpet. There is also a dedicated compartment for any accessories, and a mouthpiece holder.
