To further aid your tone, the YRGB61 features an arched windway. Ideal if you want to take control of your recorder, the arched windway is essential to play in a more virtuosic style. Included with the YRGB61 is a hard case, neck fingering chart, cleaning rod, two floor pegs, and cork grease so you can get started straight away.

Made from the highest quality maple, the YRGB61 great bass recorder is ideal for professionals and soloists. Before being carved, the wood is seasoned and matured to ensure you produce a tone with great depth. Only then is it meticulously hand carved by Yamaha artisans in Japan. Characterised by its pure sound, maple is perfect for blending in with the ensemble. As expected from Yamaha, the YRGB61 features excellent intonation, offering a suitable amount of air resistance for easy control.
To ensure you're always comfortable, the angle and length of the bocal are adjustable to suit your preference. To also aid your comfort, two removable wooden pegs are included to aid with different playing positions. Unlike other professional recorders, the Yamaha great bass recorder features roller keys to help with finger techniques and performance.
