Bell bronze shells are hugely popular for their sound, response and aesthetics. They offer an incredibly versatile sound with a look that fits perfectly with any drum kit. Bell bronze shells provide a slight boost in the low-end with a warm midrange and a powerful, punchy attack.
The Performance Series now comes with the coveted DW MAG throw-off in a chrome finish. A simple design, the MAG is a workhorse drop throw-off with easy to adjust horizontal tension. Its name comes from a magnet that's built into the body of the throw-off. When the handle is lifted into the upright position it is magnetically held in place, to prevent accidental disengagement. When released, it 'throws' the strainer completely off the head to avoid any strainer buzz.
The Concept Select Bell Bronze's triple-flanged hoops allow the Remo drumhead to vibrate as freely as possible, while also providing a great stick surface for rimshots and cross-sticks.
