Charlie Benante is an American musician most notably known as the drummer from thrash metal band Anthrax. Benante is known for his fast double kick technique and has been a leading pioneer in incorporating blast beats into thrash metal. Composing most of the music whilst in Anthrax, along with guitarist Scott Ian. Charlie is also a graphic designer, having created various Anthrax covers and merch over the years. Charlie Benante is endorsed by Tama, notably playing Tama Iron Cobra range of kick pedals.
