The Tama HTS108W Single Tom Stand is built for drummers who want to mount their toms from the ground like a snare drum. The problem with putting a tom on a snare stand is that the basket suffocates the drum's natural resonance, which is why the HTS108W allows the drum to float freely for the full resonance of the drum. To make this an incredibly stable and durable system, the stand features a Glide-Tite grip joint with a metal-to-metal contact point for secure attachment and complete isolation for your tom drum. Oversized rubber feet offer great stability and feature retractable spikes for floor types that require more stability than usual. To minimise vibrations sent from the tom through the cymbal stand, True-Sound Insulation is installed inside the top inner pipe to maximise isolation for your drum, for a completely open and resonant tom drum sound.
