This special tom holder allows for unparalleled angle adjustment of the toms. This means that each ball can move around an arc backwards and forward for super flexible positioning. As well as this, the base of the stand features Tama's Stilt system which allows you to tilt the toms more easily.
Orbital Quick-Tite Cymbal & Boom Tilters
The Tama Star Combi Stand features an all-new cymbal tilter for gearless angle adjustment of the cymbal in any direction. You don’t need to change the angle or height of the cymbal or boom arm as the L-rod allows you to extend the cymbal's length/reach without it. On top of this, the new boom arm tilter also allows for fast and easy adjustment of the cymbal position. With the use of just one wing nut, you can change the length, angle and orientation of the boom arm in all directions.
Glide-Tite Grip Joint & Insulation Mute
The new Glide-Tite Grip Joint provides a stronger and more secure attachment by using a metal-to-metal contact point. Using this ensures solid and complete isolation for a tom or cymbal. Additionally, this also ensures the natural resonance of that instrument making it more into the mix rather than your stand. On top of that, the Tama Combi Stand also features True-Sound Insulation Mute which again maximises isolation to bring out the true sound of your cymbals and toms. The insulation mute stops vibrations from your tom and cymbal transferring to the stand.
Ring-True Cymbal Felt & Quick-Set Cymbal Mate
The cymbal felts provide minimum contact while maximising the natural resonance of the cymbals. Additionally, the Quick-Set Cymbal Mate allows for super easy cymbal setup and breakdown with the press of a button. You can simply press the two buttons on the sides to easily attach and remove the Cymbal Mate, removing the need for traditional wing nuts.
