The SR1605DW's Aguilar DCB pickups are built to for versatile players. If you like to vary your dynamics from gentle taps to energetic bass slaps, then these are the humbuckers for you! The utilise a dual-ceramic bar design to produce an even magnetic field, harvesting every scrap of sonic information you produce.
In addition, the dual magnet design promotes a thick and punchy tone, excellent for voicing low-end rumbles and impactful slap lines. Similarly, the ceramic material imbes plenty of bright overtones to bring out the spark in slap styles.
Complete tonal control
The control section of the SR1605DW is your gateway to perfect tone. The active three-band EQ lets you mould your bass, midrange, and treble frequencies to get a crisp, clear, articulate voicing. The EQ bypass switch lets you switch to a passive setting, ignoring the active circuit for a more natural voicing. And the three-way mid frequency switch allows you to select which part of the midrange you want to emphasise - go from tight and punchy to thick and juicy in an instant.
