And once you're connected, the modulation and envelope controls allow you to dial in dynamic and responsive distortion effects and ramp up the number of digital artefacts present in the signal. Even better, the Bitmap 2 is tuned to provide maximum sustain without sputter, so you'll enjoy the impact of every note. On less extreme settings you can introduce the warmth of 8- and 12- bit samplers. And if you turn down the sample rate, you can morph your tone into an 8-bit style video game! Using its fractional bit reduction from 24-bits down to 1-bit and a sampling rate reduction from 48 kHz down to 110 Hz, you've got a huge range of articulation and depth of sound possible.
Combine that with sample rate waveform adjustments and things start to get interesting! Shape between triangle, square and random forms to control the behaviour of your note sustain, and then influence that even further with adjustable wavefolding and waveshaping functions.
Unlock the Bitmap 2's potential. Using MIDI you can access hidden parameters to really get creative with your sound. And not only that, but it will integrate it seamlessly with your gear setup thanks to MIDI clock synchronisation.
