The second generation of the Flint has been reimagined with new features that work to create a vintage sound. A classic voicing that accommodates the modern player. This model comes equipped with MIDI, letting you control just about everything you can imagine. Synchronise your tremolo speed with the MIDI clock sync, and then save these settings on each preset. Store up to 300 presets of your favourite settings. Also included is a premium analogue JFET input circuit, which offers a superb response in both mono and stereo. Its perfection doesn’t stop there though. Why not adjust the speed of your tremolo with the speed knob? Slow the effect down to almost 1Hz at its minimum setting.
This model comes designed with a wide range of tonal capabilities, including three tremolo styles, three reverb effects, an effect order, and a pre-delay. Included on the tremolo styles is a ’61 harmonic for emphasised frequencies and a soothing pulse. Alongside this there is also a ’63 tube, which delivers an increased harmonic distortion, and a ’65 photocell for a hard sounding tremolo.
Featured on the other side of the Flint is a range of reverb effects. These are based on different decades. Starting with the first decade, the ‘60s. This spring reverb uses spring segments of delay for an authentic, vintage reverb sound. Next up is the ‘70s plate reverb, which delivers a beautifully smooth and rich tone. Finally, there is an ‘80s hall reverb, which offers density and warmth to your overall sound.
