The pinnacle of Shure audio innovation. The KSM series has been meticulously engineered to give you phenomenal sound without compromise. Every single microphone in the series is built with premium components, providing you with years of superior sonic performance.
Experience unprecedented clarity across the entire frequency range. Perform with the knowledge that your mic can withstand even the harshest of stage environments. KSM microphones are proof that sensitivity and tougnness can live in harmony.
Tailor your microphone to your environment. A switch beneath the KSM9 grille lets you choose between two polar patterns:
- Cardioid will pick up a wide coverage of sound. Your voice will be less isolated from background noise but will contain a bit more pleasing room ambience. The preferred choice for performers using in ear monitors who have less on stage noise to contend with.
- Supercardioid will pick up a narrow range of sound, for improved voice isolation and rejection of stage noise. The preferred choice for loud environments with multiple sound sources, such as stage monitors and amps.
