This faithful recreation captures every nuance of the original hardware synth, allowing you to achieve the synths signature squelch and crunch.
Whilst staying true to the original, the virtual instrument version of TB-303 has been enhanced and optimised for music production and live performances. The TB-303 can now hold up to 64 patterns and 64 patches per bank. You can also have eight variations of a pattern, allowing you to get creative with your loops and sequences. Get inspired by exploring the 48 unique sounds and 32 preset patterns to spark your creativity.
Five new play modes are also included: Forward, Reverse, FWD&REV, Invert and Random. This widens your scope when it comes to experimentation, allowing you to change the direction of your patterns at the touch of a button – perfect for live performances and inspiring creativity.
One of the most unique new features is the inclusion of a secret panel located in the top right corner of the GUI. Accessing the hidden panel unlocks a range of new tone-colouring features. Modify the style and sound of the circuitry using the new VCF trim and Master Tune controls. You can also recreate the different states of circuitry within the synth by using the Vintage Condition control. You can also sculpt your sound using the distortion and delay with tempo sync to inspire new ideas.
In-depth integration is available using the Plug-Out format allowing you to use Roland’s TB-303 hardware synth. From here, the parameters are mapped automatically to the TB-303's controls. Unlike the scarcely available hardware version of the 303, the virtual instrument version doesn’t require frequency tune-ups and costly maintenance.
