Hardware integration

The ZENOLOGY Pro Virtual Instrument is compatible with select Roland hardware for seamless integration with your DAW. Ideal for the live musician, the ZENOLOGY Pro lets your favourite vintage synth sounds anywhere, without needing to carry extra synths and keyboards to your show, allowing you for quicker setup times and smoother performance. Not only this, but you can even share Model Expansion sounds between the ZENOLOGY Pro Virtual Instrument and the JUPITER - X/Xm.

Deep flexibility

A huge array of flexibility is presented in the design of the ZENOLOGY Pro Virtual Instrument. Based on discrete synth voices called partials - each containing an oscillator, filter, amplifier and dual step LFO's, you can use up to four partials simultaneously. This enables you to choose from thousands of waveforms, ten modelled filters and 11 LFO shapes. Combine these to create fresh and unique sounds that give your music the edge you need to stand out from the crowd. Add the final studio touches with any of the 90 luscious multiple effects and modulation to add movement and depth to your sound.

With over 80 ready-to-go drum sounds, including world-famous Roland rhythm machines, acoustic drum kits, authentic electronic sounds and hybrid kits, the ZENOLOGY is the ideal solution for any electronic music producer looking to spice up your collection. Mix and match to build custom kits with precise control over each piece of the drum kit to perfectly shape and sculpt your kit to fit your song, with six dedicated drum compressors to add studio-quality punch and impact.

A huge range of over 3500 patches and 8- drum kits provide you with the tools needed to craft the perfect sound for your music, with deep editing parameters to tweak and craft these presets to your liking, or build from scratch! Extend your palette of tones and textures with the ever-growing collection of sound packs, wave expansions and model expansions to create something that is unique to you.

Although provided with a tremendous amount of sounds to chose from, the ZENOLOGY Pro features an intuitive and user-friendly search browser to find the exact sound you are looking for. With the ability to filter and favourite patches, you can create a bank of all the sounds you keep coming back to quickly and easily get up and running in your sessions without time-consuming menu diving.
