The mechanism for the octave key has been the carefully designed and manufactured. To create seamless and controlled jumps between the registers of the instrument, a special mechanism has been used ensuring the timbre of the instrument remains the same. As well as this, the intonation is also carefully considered to create a more in tune higher register.
