The taper of the leadpipe improves the response and intonation of the french horn - which is ideal for students who are still perfecting their intonation throughout the horn's registers and professionals who want a reliable tone. The adjustable 4th rotor thumb lever opens the french horn up to all players, as it can be adjusted to fit any hand size.
