Nickel silver is more durable than brass, meaning there's less chance of corrosion, resulting in a long-lasting instrument that requires little maintenance.

Yamaha has made playing the horn easier with the YHR671D. The new leadpipe design - which is made of gold brass - gives a consistent tone and some resistance to allow you to really centre the round and ensure it is focused. The Geyer wrap design is popular among professionals and it's easy to see why. This design gives a nicely blended sound between both sides - so it's ideal for slurs - and overall there's less resistance, creating a free-blowing instrument. With such a free, responsive french horn, you'll be able to find your playing style and add expression, colour and exaggerated dynamics - all of the features that make a memorable performance.

A french horn that works for you. The adjustable 4th rotor thumb lever opens the french horn up to all players, as it can be adjusted to fit any hand size. Also, the long pull rings mean you can easily take out the tuning slides.
