Why the F?

F attachments allow trombone players to use alternative positionings and to reach lower notes - an essential for those looking to progress. It drops the pitch by a perfect fourth and the extended range includes false and pedal tones. With the Yamaha YSL548GO, you have a quicker response while using the F trigger as it has an open wrap which makes the trombone easy-blowing so that you can reach all registers with ease.

Quality construction

Whilst manufacturing the YSL548GO, Yamaha has placed an emphasis on premium sound and reliability. Rotary valves ensure that your playing is as smooth as possible and is perfect for lyrical passages and classical music. More lasting and more durable, the F trigger has mechanical linkage. Unlike a string linkage, it won't need replacing over the years! Chrome plating on the nickel silver inner slides offers smoothness with added moisture resistance, looking pristine for longer.
